Schools Archery Sessions
We have worked with many schools over the last four years and they are an important part of our business. We believe our specially designed 4 week courses will cater for all school students, but if you require something different we are happy to work with you to provide a teaching programme to suit your schools / students needs.
Our 4 week courses are designed to provide students with a safe introduction to archery.
Our aim is to teach each student:-
1) Equipment and range safety
2) Equipment handling and basic shooting technique
3) Scoring and individual development
4) Specially designed fun archery games
The maximum number of students we can cater for during our one hour lesson is 14. This is to ensures our exemplary safety record is maintained and students receive maximum output from each lesson.
We promote a minimum course of 4 lessons (4 x 1 hr lessons) to achieve the above aims however we would be happy to provide “one-off” introductory full day lessons as a taster course for all the students.
For students who wish to further develop their archery skills, learn more about the sport, improve their technique and practice distance shooting we have several archery clubs ran by qualified archery instructors based in local sports centres and school sports halls.
